Walk-ins are always welcome at Grotto. No reservation needed for most visits. For larger groups (6 or more) or private event bookings, we recommend contacting us via WhatsApp in advance to ensure space is set up for your group.

Every day from 5PM to 7PM, Grotto serves complimentary snacks during aperitivo hour. It's our invitation to arrive before the evening crowd and ease into the night. Aperitivo is included for all guests present during that window.

A standard hookah session runs approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. You can order additional coals to extend your session. Grotto is designed for long stays — there's no pressure to wrap up quickly, especially on Friday and Saturday nights when we close at 2AM.

Classic hookah flavors use standard molasses-based tobacco — typically fruit-forward and widely familiar (Apple, Grape Mint, Watermelon). Russian hookah flavors use a different tobacco blend and preparation style — often smoother, denser clouds with more complex or unusual flavor profiles like Ivan Chai (herbal), Creme Brulee, or Fizzy Lemon.

Intramuros has several parking areas near the main gates. We recommend entering via the Victoria or Muralla gates and using nearby public parking. Alternatively, rideshares like Grab drop off conveniently at Cabildo Street. Ask us on WhatsApp for the current best parking spots in the area.

Grotto does not have a minimum spend policy for regular walk-in guests. For private event bookings or table reservations for large groups, specific arrangements may apply — contact us directly for details.

Grotto's kitchen focuses on donburi (Japanese rice bowl dishes), yakitori (grilled skewers), and small plates like karaage, gyoza, takoyaki, and edamame. The food is designed to be satisfying alongside a shisha session — flavorful, not overly heavy, and easy to share.
